Stretch Goal Rework
The Cinnabunny campaign has slowed down a bit so I've decided to reorganize my development plans and rework the stretch goals to help regain our momentum! Now we have some awesomely fun goals on the way to the console porting goal of 35k. As we're more than halfway to the porting goal and less than halfway through the campaign, I believe we can make it! Check out the new stretch goals below with some added explanations underneath:
Base Game Funded (17k)
LET 'EM COOK (I mean bake...)
Clothier / Hats (20k)
Originally at 25k, I've moved this goal down a bit (because I want my buns to sport some daper hats, man!) This stretch goal will add a clothier NPC (non-player character) where you can buy fancy new hats after you save up enough carrots from running your bakery.
Hang Gliders (25k)
If you're like me, you just love gliding mechanics in games. There's something so peaceful about soaring through the air. Nintendo Switch Zelda fans, I know you get me. In Cinnabunny, the forest is a place to forage for ingredients, discover new mushroom species, birdwatch, and eventually even fly a biplane! But sometimes you want to just relaxingly glide through the beautiful trees. This stretch goal will help us do just that!
Kiteboarding (30k)
Don't know what kiteboarding is? Check it out. While I'm no expert, I love the sport and I don't think I've seen a game include it before. Imagining lil bunny ears flapping in the wind as they ride across the water just seems too cute not to include! So let's see if we can make this happen! :)
Console Releases (35k)
And of course, bringing Cinnabunny to Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo would be absolutely amazing. Not to mention it would open the doors for so many more people to play. An important note for this stretch goal: if we do happen to make it to this point, you'll be able to select what kind of game key you'd like for your digital copy. BUT, you should note that console ports will release much later than the Steam/PC version. I plan to use a porting team and cannot guarantee the timeline for release.
